The Bulla Organic Waste Facility processes 120,000 tonnes of green organics, lawn clippings, garden waste, and food scraps annually. This highly efficient facility converts landfill-bound waste into approximately 90,000 tonnes of premium composts (75,000T) and mulches (15,000T).
The facility receives, processes, and repurposes organic waste supplied by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) along with 11 participating councils across Melbourne’s northern and western regions.
